Job summary

CACEIS Malaysia is seeking a Manager of Settlements to lead a high-performing team responsible for timely and accurate trade settlements within the custody framework. You will interact with stakeholders across FX, treasury, lending, and middle office to resolve issues and improve STP and settlement rates.

The role requires strong ownership, attention to detail, and deep knowledge of trade settlement processes and custody services, with a focus on staff development and risk management.

Qualifications

• 6-10 years of experience in custody settlement or middle-office operations.
• Experience leading a team of 5+ members.
• Strong English communication with European stakeholders.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent in a related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead the team to ensure trades settle on time and correctly, coordinating with FX, treasury, lending and middle office.
• Manage team performance against goals and drive continuous improvement.
• Identify and mitigate risks; maintain audit readiness and reinforce accurate procedures.
• Build a high-performance team through hiring, training and development; conduct semi-annual reviews; ensure disaster recovery testing.
• Promote values and high standards while developing leadership within the team.
• Ensure daily BAU tasks are completed to deliver high-quality outputs on time.
