Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor) to perform on-site installation, maintenance and repair of E.O.L. equipment across client sites in Malaysia.

You will diagnose issues, provide practical solutions, document service reports and communicate clearly with clients and internal teams, while ensuring safety and quality.

The role requires a Diploma or degree in Engineering, willingness to travel to Ipoh and Penang, and the ability to lift equipment and work hands-on.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Engineering required.
Experience as Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor) or similar.
Strong technical knowledge to diagnose and resolve issues on semiconductor equipment.
Excellent communication to explain technical information to clients.
Strong organisational and time management abilities.
Willingness to travel to client sites (Ipoh and Penang).
Physical ability to perform hands-on work and lift equipment.
Commitment to health and safety standards and compliance.
Customer service oriented with focus on quality.

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair of Semiconductor E.O.L. equipment.
Diagnose issues and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
Perform preventative maintenance checks per schedules and protocols.
Document all work, including detailed service reports.
Communicate findings to clients and internal teams.
Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot critical failures.
Maintain and manage field equipment and tools.
Collaborate with the technical team to identify recurring issues and improvements.
Provide technical guidance to clients on operation and best practices.
Travel to client sites across the region as required.
