Job summary

Acquirax Holdings Sdn Bhd in Penang invites applications for a Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor). You will perform on-site installation, maintenance and repair of E.O.L. equipment, diagnose issues, and implement timely solutions to minimise downtime.

Travel to client sites across the region, document all work with detailed reports, and advise clients and internal teams. A diploma or degree in engineering and strong communication skills are essential, with a commitment to safety and quality

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) or related field.
Experience as Field Service Engineer in Semiconductor or similar tech support.
Strong technical knowledge to diagnose and resolve complex issues on Semiconductor equipment.
Excellent communication to explain technical information to non-technical clients.
Willingness to travel to client sites (Ipoh and Penang) with a valid driving licence.
Commitment to health and safety and regulatory compliance.
Ability to manage multiple service calls and stay organized.
Preferred: certifications or specialised training in semiconductor equipment.

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for Semiconductor E.O.L. equipment
Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
Perform preventative maintenance checks and servicing per schedules
Document all work, including detailed service reports and maintenance records
Communicate technical findings to clients and internal teams
Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot critical equipment failures
Maintain and manage field equipment and tools
Collaborate with the technical team to identify recurring issues and improvements
Provide technical guidance and support to clients on equipment operation and best practices
Travel to client sites across the region as required
