Job summary

Acquirax Holdings Sdn Bhd seeks a Field Service Engineer to install, maintain and repair Semiconductor E.O.L. equipment on client sites across Malaysia. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, and document all service activities for internal records.

The role requires strong technical knowledge, excellent communication, and the ability to travel to Ipoh and Penang. A valid driving licence and safety compliance mindset are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree qualification in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience working as a Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor) or in a similar technical field support role
Strong technical knowledge and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues on E.O.L. Semiconductor equipment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical clients
Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple service calls
Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites (Ipoh and Penang)
Physical capability to perform hands-on engineering work and lift equipment as required
Commitment to health and safety standards and adherence to compliance regulations
Customer service orientation with a focus on delivering quality support
Preferred: Relevant technical certifications or specialised training in specific Semiconductor equipment types

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site installation, maintenance, and repair services for Semiconductor E.O.L. equipment
Diagnose technical issues and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime
Perform preventative maintenance checks and servicing in accordance with established schedules and protocols
Document all work completed, including detailed service reports and maintenance records
Communicate technical findings and recommendations clearly to clients and internal teams
Respond promptly to emergency service calls and troubleshoot critical equipment failures
Maintain and manage field equipment and tools, ensuring they are in working order
Collaborate with the technical team to identify recurring issues and implement improvements
Provide technical guidance and support to clients on equipment operation and best practices
Travel to various client sites across the region as required
