Job summary

Acquirax Holdings Sdn Bhd is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, service and repair Semiconductor E.O.L. equipment at client sites in Malaysia. You will diagnose technical issues, perform preventative maintenance, and document all activities for client records and internal teams.

The role requires hands-on engineering capability, strong communication skills, a valid driving licence, and willingness to travel to sites in Ipoh and Penang as needed. Health and safety adherence is essential.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Engineering, Mechanical or Electrical fields.
Experience as Field Service Engineer (Semiconductor) or similar.
Strong technical knowledge to diagnose complex issues on semiconductor equipment.
Excellent communication to explain technical info to non-technical clients.
Strong organisation and time management for multiple service calls.

Responsibilities

Conduct on-site installation, maintenance and repair of Semiconductor E.O.L. equipment.
Diagnose issues and implement effective solutions to minimise downtime.
Perform preventative maintenance per schedules and protocols.
Document all work with detailed service reports and maintenance records.
Communicate findings to clients and internal teams clearly.
Respond to emergency service calls and troubleshoot critical equipment.

Respond promptly to emergency service calls and troubleshoot critical equipment failures
Maintain and manage field equipment and tools, ensuring they are in working order
Collaborate with the technical team to identify recurring issues and implement improvements
Provide technical guidance and support to clients on equipment operation and best practices
Travel to various client sites across the region as required
