Job summary

JKS Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is hiring a Service Engineer to support customers across Malaysia and overseas, including Klang, Selangor and Penang. You will participate in machine commissioning, troubleshooting, and after-sales engineering support, with Mandarin-speaking duties for China and Taiwan.

Ideal candidates have a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Electrical & Electronic Engineering, and are willing to travel to customer sites.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical & Electronic Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Mandarin-speaking ability is required to communicate with customers from Taiwan and China.
• Good command of spoken and written English.
• Experience in the semiconductor, automation, machinery or industrial equipment industry will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Able to understand engineering drawings, particularly 2D drawings.
• Knowledge of 2D or 3D drawing software will be an advantage.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel and Windows operating systems.
• Willing to travel to customer sites and work outside normal office hours when required.
• Fresh graduates with strong technical aptitude and a willingness to learn may also be considered.

Responsibilities

Job description

The Service Engineer play an important role in supporting customers across Malaysia and overseas. You will be involved in machine commissioning, technical troubleshooting, customer training and after-sales engineering support.

This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on technical work, customer interaction, problem-solving and exposure to industrial automation and precision cleaning systems.

We are currently hiring Service Engineers based in Klang, Selangor and Penang. Mandarin-speaking candidates are required to support our key customers in China and Taiwan.

Key Responsibilities

Support machine installation, setup, testing and commissioning at customer sites.

Diagnose equipment faults and carry out repair, troubleshooting and fine-tuning activities.

Provide on-site and online support to customers and train them on equipment operation, maintenance and basic troubleshooting.

Requirements
