Job summary

Neotel Technologies in Malaysia is seeking a skilled Service Engineer to provide overseas technical support for customers, focusing on SMT equipment and electronics manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Mandarin and English, and willing to travel internationally with prior overseas project experience.

You will install, commission, maintain, and repair SMT systems at customer sites globally, deliver remote and on-site support, conduct training in Mandarin and English, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Electrical/Electronic/Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in service engineering, technical support, or related roles; SMT or electronics manufacturing equipment experience highly preferred.
• Overseas work experience or previous international project support is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in Mandarin and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site installation, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting for SMT and electronics manufacturing equipment at customer sites, both in Malaysia and overseas.
• Deliver remote and on-site technical support to international customers, ensuring timely and effective problem resolution.
• Conduct equipment training, technical presentations, and hands-on demonstrations for customers in Chinese and English.
• Prepare detailed service reports, documentation, and feedback for internal teams and clients.
• Coordinate and communicate between headquarters, regional offices, and customers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Support new equipment rollout, upgrades, and preventive maintenance activities globally.
• Assist with spare parts management, warranty claims, and escalation of complex technical issues.
• Maintain up-to-date technical knowledge on SMT and related automation products.
• Ensure compliance with company safety, quality, and service standards.

Requirements

• Experience with SMT equipment brands (e.g., Fuji, Panasonic, Yamaha, ASM, Juki, etc.)
• Knowledge of MES, ERP, or smart manufacturing systems.
• Familiarity with Southeast Asia, Europe, or other key regions’ electronics industry environment.
