Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Engineer, Technician, or similar maintenance role.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment.
• Willingness to travel to client sites and valid driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair mechanical equipment and systems at client sites.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to minimise equipment downtime.
• Diagnose technical faults and troubleshoot mechanical issues using appropriate diagnostic tools.
• Carry out repairs and replacements of faulty components with precision and safety.
• Document all service activities, maintenance performed, and parts replaced in detailed reports.
• Respond promptly to service calls and emergency breakdowns to restore equipment functionality.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients on equipment operation and maintenance.
• Ensure all work is completed in compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to identify recurring issues and implement lasting solutions.
• Maintain accurate inventory of spare parts and tools required for service delivery.

About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated Service Engineer/Technician to join our team at 749338-K. This is a full-time position based in Kajang, Selangor. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical support, maintenance, and repair services to ensure our mechanical systems and equipment operate at optimal performance. You will be the critical link between our customers and our engineering team, delivering high-quality service that maintains customer satisfaction and supports our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a Service Engineer, Technician, or in a similar mechanical maintenance role
• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial equipment
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and maintenance software
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently and make sound technical decisions
• Effective communication skills to explain technical information clearly to clients
• Physical fitness and willingness to work in varied environments, including confined spaces and at heights where applicable
• Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to client sites
• Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to industry standards
• Relevant certifications or licenses in mechanical systems maintenance would be advantageous
• Experience with predictive maintenance technologies is preferred
