Leading Fame Auto Sdn. Bhd. in Ipoh, Perak, seeks a Service Advisor to bridge customers and the technical service team, ensuring satisfaction and efficient service operations.

You will document vehicle concerns, prepare estimates, explain recommendations simply, and manage the daily service schedule while promoting maintenance packages and services.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Experience as a Service Advisor or similar customer-facing automotive service role.
• Strong knowledge of automotive maintenance, repairs and basic vehicle systems.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
• Proficiency in using service management software and computer systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple customer interactions simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Professional appearance and demeanour.
• Fluency in English and Malay, with Mandarin being advantageous.
• Valid driving licence and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a professional and courteous manner upon arrival at the service department.
• Understand and document customer vehicle concerns and service requirements accurately.
• Prepare detailed work orders and service estimates for customer approval.
• Explain service recommendations and technical issues to customers in clear, non-technical language.
• Schedule service appointments and manage the daily service schedule efficiently.
• Liaise between customers and service technicians to ensure work is completed to specification.
• Follow up with customers regarding service completion and address any concerns or questions.
• Maintain accurate records of all service transactions and customer interactions.
• Process customer payments and handle billing inquiries.
• Promote additional services and vehicle maintenance packages to customers.
• Ensure the service reception area is welcoming and well-maintained.

About the role Leading Fame Auto Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Service Advisor to join our automotive service team in Ipoh, Perak. This is a full-time position offering an exciting opportunity to become a key point of contact between our valued customers and our technical service department.
