Job summary

Ipoh Auto City Sdn Bhd in Ipoh, Perak, is seeking a Service Advisor to manage customer service requirements, coordinate vehicle servicing and repair activities, and deliver efficient and professional aftersales services. You will attend to customers, document issues, prepare quotations, liaise with technicians and the Service Manager, and ensure timely completion.

You’ll keep customers informed of progress, costs and collections, handle enquiries, and support warranty claims and service

Responsibilities

• Attend to customers professionally and provide advice on vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs and warranty matters.
• Receive customers' vehicles and accurately record reported issues, service requests and repair requirements.
• Prepare and explain service quotations, repair estimates and recommended maintenance works to customers.
• Coordinate with technicians and the Service Manager to ensure timely and efficient completion of service and repair jobs.
• Keep customers informed of repair progress, additional repair requirements, estimated costs and vehicle collection arrangements.
• Prepare, process and maintain accurate job orders, service records, invoices and other relevant documentation.
• Handle customer enquiries, feedback and complaints professionally and ensure appropriate follow-up actions are taken.
• Assist in warranty claims, service campaigns and other aftersales-related matters in accordance with company and brand requirements.
• Promote service packages, preventive maintenance, genuine spare parts and other relevant aftersales products to achieve departmental targets.
• Monitor service job progress and ensure compliance with company procedures, operational standards and customer service requirements.
• Maintain good customer relationships to encourage customer retention and repeat service visits.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by the Company from time to time.

Job description

As a Service Advisor, you shall be responsible for managing customer service requirements, coordinating vehicle servicing and repair activities, and ensuring the delivery of efficient and professional aftersales services.

Your duties and responsibilities shall include, but not be limited to, the following:

Attend to customers professionally and provide advice on vehicle servicing, maintenance, repairs and warranty matters.

Receive customers' vehicles and accurately record reported issues, service requests and repair requirements.

Prepare and explain service quotations, repair estimates and recommended maintenance works to customers.

Coordinate with technicians and the Service Manager to ensure timely and efficient completion of service and repair jobs.

Keep customers informed of repair progress, additional repair requirements, estimated costs and vehicle collection arrangements.

Prepare, process and maintain accurate job orders, service records, invoices and other relevant documentation.
