Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an experienced warehousing operations lead to oversee inbound and outbound processes. You will ensure accurate receipt, proper put-away, and efficient storage flows while driving improvement projects across inventory management and order fulfillment.

The role requires 3+ years in a high-volume warehouse environment, strong Bahasa Malaysia and English communication, and proficiency in Google Sheets and Excel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3+ years experience supervising or leading operations in a high-volume distribution center, 3PL, ecommerce fulfillment, or manufacturing warehouse.
• Good communication in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Proficient in Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound operations: ensure accurate receipt of shipments and dock-to-storage flow.
• Lead put-away initiatives, optimize storage layouts and space utilization.
• Drive continuous improvement to reduce discrepancies and ensure safety/regulatory compliance.
• Oversee outbound operations: ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped on time and in good condition.

Job description

Directly oversee or lead the daily inbound operations, ensuring the efficient and accurate receipt of all incoming shipments. This includes managing the flow of goods from dock to storage, verifying purchase orders, inspecting for damage, and coordinating with vendors.

Lead put-away initiatives, optimizing storage layouts and space utilization. Analyzing current processes, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing project-based improvements to streamline the movement of received inventory into its designated storage location.

Involves in continuous improvement projects focused on enhancing receiving accuracy, reducing discrepancies, and ensuring strict compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.

2. Inventory Management & Control

Lead and participate in inventory accuracy projects - includes planning and executing cycle count programs, managing annual physical inventories, and spearheading root cause analysis and corrective action plans for inventory discrepancies.

Serve as the operational project lead for system data integrity, overseeing data entry processes, and leading initiatives to improve system accuracy and efficiency.

Drive projects aimed at optimizing stock levels, managing slow-moving or obsolete inventory, and collaborating with supply chain/planning teams on inventory forecasting and replenishment strategies.

3. Outbound Operations

Oversee or lead the entire order fulfillment lifecycle – from picking and packing to shipping .

Ensuring that every customer order is accurately picked, securely packed, and shipped out on time and in perfect condition.

Continuously identify and execute operational projects to enhance outbound efficiency, from optimizing pick paths and packing stations to evaluating carrier performance and implementing lean methodologies.

Requirements:

Relevant years of working experience in specialized in warehousing background - proven experience (minimum 3+ years) in supervising or leading operations within a high-volume distribution center, 3PL, e-commerce fulfillment, or manufacturing warehouse environment.

Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Excellent computer skills such as Google Sheet and Microsoft Excel.
