Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Overseeing inventory control systems to track stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocks.
• Implementing inventory optimization to reduce costs and improve turnover.
• Conducting regular inventory audits for accuracy and discrepancies.
• Managing warehouse layout and space utilization for efficiency.
• Supervising warehouse staff in receiving, picking, packing and kitting.
• Enforcing and monitoring warehouse safety procedures to minimize incidents.
• Monitoring warehouse expenses (labor, utilities, maintenance).
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing measures to reduce costs.
• Determine kits required, quantities, and components; gather components and ensure they are in good condition.
• Assemble, pack, label kits; inspect for accuracy and completeness.

Key Responsibilities

• Overseeing inventory control systems to track stock levels and prevent shortages or overstocks.
• Implementing inventory optimization techniques to reduce holding costs and improve turnover rates.
• Conducting regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
• Managing warehouse layout and space utilization to maximize efficiency.
• Supervising warehouse staff, including receiving, picking, packing and kitting.
• Implementing and monitoring warehouse safety procedures to minimize accidents and injuries.
• Monitoring warehouse expenses, such as labor, utilities, and equipment maintenance.
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities and implementing measures to reduce operational costs.
• Determine the specific kits required, the quantity of each kit, and the components to be included.
• Gather the necessary components and ensure they are in good condition.
• Assembly, packing the kits in appropriate containers, labeling them clearly. Inspect the kits to verify accuracy and completeness.

Job Requirements

• At least 5 Years of work experience in warehousing or related industries.
• Candidate should possess at least a degree in Warehousing or a related field.
• Preferably, candidates specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
• A good analytical approach and exposure to planning work shall be an advantage.
• Computer literate, with good working skills in Microsoft Office software.
