Job summary

VALSER SYNERGY SDN. BHD. is seeking a Proposal Engineer to prepare technical and commercial proposals for valve and valve automation packages, including control valves, on/off valves, actuated valves, and accessories.

The role involves reviewing RFQs and specifications, performing valve selection and sizing for liquids, gases, and steam, coordinating with Sales, Procurement, Engineering, and Project teams to ensure compliant and competitive proposals and timely submission.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 4–6 years of relevant experience in Proposal Engineering, Applications Engineering, Sales Engineering, or Project Engineering.
• Proven experience with control valves, on/off valves, actuated valves, and valve automation packages.

Responsibilities

• Prepare technical and commercial proposals for valve packages.
• Review RFQs and customer specifications.
• Perform valve selection and sizing calculations.
• Coordinate with Sales, Procurement, Engineering, and Project teams.
• Obtain supplier quotations and cost estimates.
• Identify risks prior to submission.
• Ensure timely submission of proposals.
