Job summary

TASCO Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a logistics tender specialist to analyse RFQ/RFP/ITT documents, understand client needs, and design cost-effective freight and warehousing solutions.

You will work with operations, transport planning, and finance to price bids, prepare technical proposals, present to clients, and ensure a smooth handover to the implementation team while capturing lessons from any lost tenders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
• 3-5+ years in logistics operations, transport planning, or supply chain analysis, with bidding/tendering experience.
• Exceptional Excel/data modeling skills for complex costing.
• Strong understanding of P&L, and pricing strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication for proposals and presentations.
• Ability to manage multiple tenders under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Analyse RFQ/RFP/ITT documents and understand client needs.
• Collaborate with operations and transport planning to design logistics solutions.
• Design route optimization and warehouse layout.
• Apply pricing strategies and calculate operational costs.
• Develop detailed technical solutions and client credentials for proposals.
• Oversee project handover from bidding to implementation.
• Conduct post-mortem analysis on lost tenders and capture lessons learned.
