Job summary

Maersk Malaysia in Shah Alam is seeking a Commercial Pricing and Tender Management professional to prepare quotations, pricing models, rate cards and customer proposals for trucking, linehaul, distribution and cross-border solutions.

You will review RFQs, coordinate inputs, develop cost models, and ensure submissions meet deadlines while maintaining margins. The role requires at least five years in transport operations or logistics, with strong Excel and TMS skills and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport costing, rate negotiation, RFQ or tender prep.
• Proficient in creating customer proposals and cost models.
• Strong knowledge of domestic and cross-border transport regulations.
• Ability to travel and flexible hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare transport quotations, pricing models, rate cards and proposals.
• Review RFQs and tenders, coordinate inputs and ensure timely submissions.
• Develop detailed cost models including fuel, driver, tolls and other charges.
• Monitor pricing compliance and optimize margins and service scope.
• Collaborate with BD, Ops, Finance and Solution Design on proposals.
