Job summary

TC FREIGHT & LOGISTICS SDN. BHD. is seeking an experienced logistics professional to manage import/export operations and coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams.

The role involves handling quotations, bookings, and documentation, and ensuring accurate file closure after shipments. The candidate should have strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics or import/export operations.
• Knowledge of import/export procedures and shipping documentation.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Able to work independently and handle multiple tasks.
• Computer literate, especially Microsoft Office.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Mandarin-speaking is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Handle and coordinate import and export operations.
• Coordinate with clients, vendors, shipping lines, transporters and internal teams.
• Respond to customer inquiries and prepare quotations when required.
• Open job files, arrange bookings, prepare documents and follow up on shipments.
• Handle customs clearance, import/export documentation and delivery arrangements.
• Follow up shipment status and resolve operational issues.
• Prepare and follow up on client invoicing and billing.
• Ensure all job files are properly completed and closed after shipment completion.
• Maintain proper records and documentation.
• Assist the Operations Manager with daily operations and other assigned tasks.
