Job summary

TNG Digital is seeking a data analyst to drive insights from large datasets and support data-driven decision making across marketing, product, and leadership teams. You will build dashboards, ensure data quality, and collaborate to embed analytics into everyday decisions.

The role requires strong SQL, BI tool experience, Excel mastery, and a solid statistical mindset. This is a hands-on position in a fast-paced environment with opportunities to mentor juniors and influence business growth.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in data analytics, BI, or similar
• Ability to write complex queries to extract/manipulate data
• Proficient in Tableau/Power BI/Looker for dashboards

Role Overview

What You'll Do:

• Drive Business Impact through Data: Write and optimize advanced SQL queries to extract insights from large datasets. Translate data into clear, actionable recommendations that influence marketing strategies, product enhancements, and business growth.
• Champion a Data-First Culture: Collaborate with marketing, product, and leadership teams to solve problems, validate hypotheses, and embed data-driven decision-making into the DNA of our company.
• Tell Compelling Stories with Data: Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that monitor key performance metrics, ensuring stakeholders have timely and accurate visibility into the business.
• Ensure Data Quality & Standards: Take ownership of data integrity, consistency, and reporting standards, working with data engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
• Enhance our Analytical Capabilities: Contribute to the development of frameworks, tools, and processes that improve the efficiency and impact of our analytics function.
• Mentor & Collaborate: Provide support to junior analysts, fostering best practices in analytics, problem-solving, and storytelling with data.

Role Requirements:

• Experience: A minimum of 4 years of hands‑on experience in a data analytics, business intelligence, or a similar quantitative role.
• Advanced SQL: Proven ability to write complex queries to extract and manipulate large datasets from data warehouses (e.g., BigQuery, Snowflake, Redshift).
• BI & Visualization: Expertise in using BI tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker to build insightful dashboards and reports.
• Excel: Mastery of advanced Excel functions for data analysis and modeling.
• Analytical Mindset: A strong foundation in statistics (e.g., experimental design, statistical significance, confidence intervals) and a genuine passion for solving problems with data.
• Business Acumen: The ability to understand business challenges and translate them into analytical questions and projects.
• Excellent Communicator: You can clearly and concisely explain complex analytical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Proactive & Organized: A self‑starter who can manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment with meticulous attention to detail.
