Job summary

I&I Construction & Engineering Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee on-site construction activities at Teluk Panglima Garang or Setia Alam, Selangor. You will coordinate with project managers, engineers and suppliers to keep projects on track and compliant with quality standards.

Candidates should have 5+ years of site supervision experience, a Civil Eng./Construction Management diploma, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel and Word.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of site supervision experience in construction projects.
• Familiar with fast track high-rise or complex construction works is an added advantage.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel and Word; capable of multitasking.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate on-site activities with project managers and engineers.
• Ensure tasks meet schedule and quality requirements; liaise with procurement and QS.
• Maintain site records, prepare daily reports and progress documentation.
• Adhere to health, safety and environmental regulations; support ad-hoc duties.

Job description

This Site Supervisor role is responsible for the supervising and coordinating the activities of construction workers on-site, to ensure tasks are completed on schedule and to the required quality standards based at project site in Teluk Panglima Garang or Setia Alam, Selangor.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supervising And Coordinating the Activities of Construction Workers On-Site:

Liaising with project managers, engineers and other stakeholders to communicate project updates and address any concerns;

Providing guidance and support to the construction team, promoting a positive and collaborative work environment;

2. Ensure Tasks Are Completed on Schedule and to the Required Quality Standards:

Work closely with the Purchasing, Contract Department and Quantity Surveyors to ensure that projects are completed in a safe manner whilst company requirements and expectations are always maintained or exceeded;

Produce procurement schedules and liaise with the procurement department to ensure sites have adequate resources to complete the tasks;

Make sure material goods deliver in order with quantity and quality, require feedback to procurement department if any quality issue occur;

Ensuring compliance with relevant health, safety and environmental regulations;

To conduct proactive checks and ensure compliance and quality of work;

3. Departmental Administration Tasks

Maintaining accurate site records and documentation related to the construction project; including prepare Site Daily, RFWI inspection forms, progress reports and etc;

Undertake any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Qualifications & Skills

Certificate/Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or relevant field of working experience in the related field for this position;

Minimum 5 years of site supervision experience in the construction industry; Familiar in fast track high-rise and/or construction industry is an added advantage;

Proficiency in AutoCad, Microsoft Excel and Word;

Able to manage and supervise multitask, with ability to focus on detailing in engineering and architectural;

Fluent in spoken and written English and Bahasa Malaysia. Proficiency in Mandarin Language is an added advantage (due to communication with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders);

Strong teamwork, communication and problem solving skills are essential;

Willing to work at project sites and adapt to project timelines;

Possess own transportation.

Working Hours

Monday to Saturday (8.00am to 5.00pm)
