• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university.
• At least 6 years of experience with building projects (commercial or civil/LTA).
• Experience delivering full project lifecycle from start to handover.
• Strong coordination and planning with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day site operations and monitor progress.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and consultants to ensure quality and safety.
• Review master construction programs and prepare catch-up plans as needed.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies with the technical team.
• Prepare detailed method statements and work instructions.
• Coordinate between subcontractors, vendors and internal departments to meet schedules.
• Plan works on site, forecast resource needs, and control wastage.
• Ensure adherence to safety practices on site.

Job description

As a Senior Site Engineer you'll be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, coordinating with subcontractors and consultants, ensuring works are carried out according to schedule, quality, and safety requirements, and supporting the Project Manager in the overall execution of the project. We're looking for someone with solid construction site experience who can work well with different stakeholders and drive progress on site.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Monitor and review master construction program and preparation of catch-up program, if applicable.
• Monitor and supervise engineers, ensure compliance to the quality procedures & standard of workmanship. Checking on quality and quantity of work by subcontractors.
• Preparation of detailed program for the site team to follow accordingly & completed in time.
• Resolve drawing discrepancies & technical difficulties with the technical team.
• Preparation of detailed method statements and work instructions for construction.
• Coordinates between sub-contractors/vendors/internal departments and monitor site manpower / material / equipment demands to meet schedules.
• Liaise with the consultants on the submission related to structural works and the technical department.
• Plan all works on site, including program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower requirement, and control usage and wastages of all.
• Adherence to safety practices in the workplace.

Skills & Requirements:

• Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University
• At least6 years of experience with building projects (commercial building or civil/LTA).
• Successfully completed at least one full project lifecycle, from commencement through handover.
• Strong coordination, planning, and stakeholder management skills.
