Job summary

Johnson Controls in Malaysia is seeking a Senior Sales Manager for Security Solutions to drive growth across assigned verticals. You will secure new projects, manage key accounts and achieve sales targets through consultative and technical selling.

You will collaborate with pre-sales, engineering and operations teams to develop competitive proposals and maintain strong engagement with architects, consultants and M&E engineers to influence project specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience in electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion).
• Proven track record in project sales and achieving targets.
• Strong understanding of tender processes and project-based selling.
• Good technical knowledge of security system design.
• Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Achieve annual sales revenue and gross margin targets.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities in targeted verticals.
• Manage and grow relationships with consultants, integrators, contractors, developers and end users.
• Prepare technical proposals, system designs, tenders and quotations.
• Conduct product presentations and solution demonstrations to customers.
• Ensure proposed solutions meet tender specifications and technical requirements.
• Negotiate commercial terms and secure contracts.
• Maintain strong pipeline management and provide accurate sales forecasting.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and pricing strategies.
• Support project execution teams during handover and participate in key client meetings.
