Job summary

Markem-Imaje Asia Pacific is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to drive revenue growth and expand market share within the assigned territory. You will develop sales plans for key accounts, manage distributors, and close new opportunities.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering/Industrial/Manufacturing/Science or equivalent B2B sales experience.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial sales experience in related industries with success in penetrating new markets.
• Experience with Salesforce.com as a CRM tool is preferred.
• Strong understanding of market and competitors.
• Experience in partner/distributor management preferred.
• Experienced in solution selling, sales forecast, and negotiation skills.
• Experienced in customer relationship management and building a base of clients.
• Ability to anticipate needs, sell, and build a customer base.
• Data-driven mindset and ability to track metrics to drive business.

Responsibilities

• Grow the territory in revenue and market share and achieve territory sales targets.
• Develop a sales plan that effectively covers all accounts within the assigned territory.
• Manage existing customer accounts including distributors and enhance customer satisfaction.
• Develop and close additional sales opportunities in the existing customer base.
• Prospect for new opportunities and generate new customer relationships within the territory.
• Learn and implement Markem-Imaje Sales Process and internal policies.
• Operate within expense guidelines.
• Demonstrate proficiency in using the customer relationship management database.
