Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Senior Sales Engineer in Malaysia to manage accounts, develop tailored solutions within our pricing framework, and drive annual growth. The role emphasizes building long-term customer relationships, tender preparation, and negotiations to secure profitable orders.

Ideal candidates have a mechanical/HVAC/electrical engineering background, 3-5 years of industrial sales experience, and strong presentation and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, HVAC, or Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
• 3-5 years of direct sales experience in industrial machinery.
• Self-motivated, results-driven, and a proactive hunter personality.
• Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Fluent in spoken and written English.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve annual growth targets.
• Manage accounts and forge strong relationships with customers to understand their needs.
• Prepare tenders and lead negotiations to secure profitable orders while ensuring payment collection.
• Deliver monthly sales reports to management, tracking performance and customer satisfaction.
• Identify customer needs, generate leads, and proactively build long-term relationships.
• Monitor competitor activities and report insights to enhance market position.
• Manage BMS projects to deliver effective customer solutions.
• Adhere to Johnson Controls policies and procedures with integrity.
