Job summary

YMC Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sales/Marketing Engineer to actively market its water and wastewater engineering products. You will develop new markets, handle inquiries, prepare quotations and provide technical pre-sales and after-sales support to customers.

You will deliver product presentations, liaise with consultants and contractors, and assist with exhibitions and marketing events. A degree in Engineering plus 5 years in a similar role is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering majoring in Mechanical, Chemical or relevant field of study.
• At least 5 years working experience in a similar capacity or position.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently with strong sense of responsibility.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.
• Experience in the water or biogas industry is preferred.

Job description

Handle customer enquiries, prepare quotations and follow up closely on all sales leads

Provide pre-sales technical assistance and after-sales support to customers

Deliver presentations of company's products to potential customers and handle all technical enquiries on the products

Liaise with consultants, suppliers, contractors and authorities from sales initiation to final project completion

Support marketing activities such as exhibitions, trade shows, conferences and other marketing events

About you
