Job summary

Integrated Modern Environmental Control Sdn Bhd in Penang invites a proactive sales professional to identify and develop new business within environmental engineering, industrial, and utilities sectors. You will coordinate with engineering to prepare technical and commercial proposals and conduct client site visits to specify solutions such as WWTP systems.

You will build relationships with clients, consultants, and regulators, negotiate terms, and ensure smooth handovers to project teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in environmental engineering or industrial sectors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within environmental engineering, industrial, and utilities sectors.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals, quotations, and tender submissions in coordination with the engineering team.
• Conduct client site visits to assess technical requirements and recommend suitable solutions (e.g., WWTP systems, environmental control equipment).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients, consultants, and regulatory bodies.
• Liaise with project and engineering teams to ensure proposed solutions are technically sound and deliverable.
• Track market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory developments relevant to the environmental engineering industry.
• Negotiate contract terms and pricing in line with company margins and approval guidelines.
• Support post-sales handover to project teams, ensuring smooth transition from sales to execution.
• Maintain accurate sales pipeline records and prepare periodic sales performance reports.
• Represent IMEC at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings as required.
