Job summary

YMC Technologies Sdn Bhd is seeking a Sales/Marketing Engineer to actively market its water and wastewater engineering products. You will develop new markets, handle inquiries, prepare quotations and provide technical pre-sales and after-sales support to customers.

You will deliver product presentations, liaise with consultants and contractors, and assist with exhibitions and marketing events. A degree in Engineering plus 5 years in a similar role is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Engineering majoring in Mechanical, Chemical or relevant field of study.
• At least 5 years working experience in a similar capacity or position.
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work independently with strong sense of responsibility.
• Proficient in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Good knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.
• Experience in the water or biogas industry is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Actively market the Company's range of engineering products to existing customers and develop new customers or dealership.
• Develop new markets, agencies and sales leads for local and overseas markets.
• Handle customer enquiries, prepare quotations and follow up on sales leads.
• Provide pre-sales technical assistance and after-sales support.
• Deliver presentations of products to potential customers and handle technical enquiries.
• Liaise with consultants, suppliers, contractors and authorities from sales initiation to project completion.
• Support marketing activities such as exhibitions, trade shows and conferences.
