Job summary

Vescope Sdn Bhd, a firm of Chartered Quantity Surveyors, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor for on-site work based in Petaling Jaya, Selangor. The role covers full pre- and post-contract cost management across residential, commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects.

You will develop cost plans, BOQs, manage tenders, evaluate bids, and support BIM-based surveying processes while maintaining strict budget control and high-quality reporting for clients and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying or related field is required or beneficial.
• Experience in cost planning and BOQ development for building and infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of standard forms of measurement and contract documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead full pre- and post-contract cost management for building and infrastructure projects.
• Prepare cost plans and estimates; develop Bills of Quantities (BOQ); manage tender processes.
• Evaluate contractor bids and prepare contract documentation; monitor budgets and cost control.
• Conduct cost reporting and value engineering; advise on financial and contractual matters.
• Collaborate with clients, consultants, and contractors; participate in site meetings; support BIM-based quantity surveying processes.
