Job summary

TTY ID & Construction Sdn Bhd in Penang, Malaysia is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management from tender to final account for commercial and light industrial projects in North Malaysia. You will prepare estimates, monitor budgets, negotiate contracts, and mentor junior staff to ensure profitability and quality.

Qualifications

5+ years of post-qualification experience as a Quantity Surveyor.
Strong cost management, budgeting, and value engineering capabilities.
Familiar with PAM/CIDB or equivalent contract forms and commercial controls.

Responsibilities

Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender docs for commercial/industrial projects.
Analyze drawings and specs to develop accurate, competitive estimates.
Negotiate and manage contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.
Monitor budgets, identify cost savings, and manage variations and claims.
Administer contracts, progress payments, and tender analyses.
Mentor junior QS staff on technical matters and best practices.
