Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a QA/QC professional to oversee quality assurance and control within a manufacturing environment, ensuring inspection activities meet established standards and driving continuous improvement.

You will supervise incoming, in-process, and final inspections; coordinate ISO 9001, 5S, EHS audits; monitor the QMS; and prepare QC reports and SOPs. Diploma or Bachelor’s in Management/Engineering with 1–3 years QA/QC experience is required, with MS Office proficiency.

• 1–3 years of QA/QC experience in manufacturing.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 5S and EHS practices.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Monitor the quality management system’s effectiveness.
• Prepare QC reports and documentation (COA, inspection reports, SOPs, product specs).
• Handle customer complaints by investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions.
• Support ERP/MES system maintenance and data accuracy.
• Maintain the documentation control system for quality documents.

This role involves overseeing quality assurance and quality control operations within a manufacturing or production environment, with responsibility for inspection activities, audit coordination, quality management system monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities to ensure compliance with established quality standards and procedures

Prepare and execute internal and external audits including ISO 9001, 5S, BSCI, ICTI and Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) compliance audits

Monitor the implementation and effectiveness of the quality management system

Prepare quality control (QC) reports including COA, Inspection report, and develop quality-related documentation, including SOPs and product specifications

Handle customer complaints by coordinating investigations, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective and preventive actions

Coordinate and support ERP/MES System maintenance, data accuracy and system improvement

Manage and maintain the documentation control system to ensure all quality-related documents are up-to-date, accessible, and in compliance with internal and external requirements

Undertake additional tasks as assigned by management to support the continuous improvement of quality operations

About you

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, or a related field

1–3 years of experience in a QA/QC role within a manufacturing or production environment

Knowledge related to ISO 9001, 5S methodology and EHS practices

Strong attention to detail, analytical skills and problem-solving techniques

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments
