Job summary

Bright Prospect is seeking a Quality Assurance Executive (Manufacturing) in Malaysia to lead QA operations. You will investigate production issues, perform root cause analysis, and drive CAPA while collaborating with production and other departments.

You will establish and maintain the QMS in line with ISO 9001, lead internal audits, and train staff on ISO 9001:2015 awareness, ensuring ongoing quality improvements across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in a related field; manufacturing QA experience required.
• Experience supervising QA teams in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001; ISO 45001 exposure is an added advantage.
• Experience with internal audits and regulatory/customer audits.

Responsibilities

• Investigate production issues, conduct root cause analysis, and implement CAPA.
• Supervise daily QA operations and lead the QA team.
• Work with production and cross-functional teams to ensure quality.
• Establish and maintain QMS in compliance with ISO 9001.
• Lead internal audits and provide ISO 9001:2015 training.

Quality Assurance QA Executive (Manufacturing)

• Ability to investigate production issues, handle customer complaints, conduct root cause analysis, identify trends, and implement Corrective and Preventive Actions.
• Proven experience in supervising team members and managing daily QA operations.
• Able to work effectively with cross-functional teams, particularly production team.
• Establish, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) in compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable standards.
• Lead internal auditors and provide ISO 9001:2015 training and awareness across the organization.
• Lead and manage the QA team in daily operations, including inspection, testing, and calibration activities.
• Oversee approval or rejection of incoming materials and finished goods based on inspection results.
• Analyze quality issues from customers or production to implement containment and preventive measures.
• Drive continuous improvement programs and promote quality awareness across the organization.
• Monitor supplier performance, conduct supplier audits, and verify corrective actions.

To be successful for the role:

• Bachelor of Degree or related field.
• Experience working as Quality Assurance in Manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge with ISO 9001; ISO 45001 exposure is an added advantage.
