Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Quality Assurance professional to plan and execute process audits ensuring ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and ISO 14001 compliance. You will develop, implement, and maintain control plans reflecting process capabilities and customer requirements, lead CAPA activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to embed quality in development, production, and supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferred Chemical/Mechanical/Industrial).
• 2–5 years in quality assurance or quality control in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Experience in process audits and control plans.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, or equivalents.
• Proficiency in standards interpretation (ASTM, NADCA, APQP, PPAP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication; can draft audit-defensible docs and present findings.

Responsibilities

• Lead root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) for internal and external quality issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality requirements are embedded in development, production, and supply chain activities.
• Prepare audit-defensible documentation, including SOPs, work instructions, and quality records.
• Support internal and external audits, including customer visits and third-party certification audits.
• Perform statistical data analysis, MSA, and data visualization (e.g., Pareto charts, trend analysis, 7 QC tools) to monitor quality performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs), deviation requests, and change control documentation.
• Support APQP, PPAP, and FMEA activities for new product introductions and process changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (preferably Chemical, Mechanical, or Industrial).
• 2–5 years of experience in quality assurance or quality control in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Proven experience conducting process audits and managing control plans.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, or equivalent standards.
• Proficiency in technical standards interpretation (e.g., ASTM, NADCA, APQP, PPAP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills - able to draft audit-defensible documentation, communicate with customers, and present findings clearly.
