Job summary

Carsome Sdn Bhd is seeking an organized Assistant Manager, Purchasing to supervise inspection and procurement operations in Malaysia. You will coordinate manpower, lead distribution, and drive fast, accurate conversions across inbound, outbound, and web-generated leads in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will lead negotiations after inspections, monitor KPIs, and ensure high-quality customer engagement while coordinating with BST, TCA, and B2C teams.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in automotive procurement, sales management, or branch operations.
• Supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily manpower schedules for inspectors across channels to ensure full coverage.
• Assign leads to inspectors in real-time and monitor adherence to TAT and SLA.
• Monitor throughput and adjust assignments to meet 20–35 minute inspection times.
• Manage website-generated leads and educate customers on the CARSOME process.
• Lead post-inspection negotiations to hit procurement KPIs.
• Drive daily follow-ups to improve deal confirmations and bidding participation.
• Oversee post-bid communications and secure timely offer outcomes.
• Coordinate with BST team to secure appointments and handoffs.
• Consolidate weekly reporting for the team with accurate inspection data.
• Support rapid car value estimations to speed customer decisions.
