Job summary

Bunge in Pasir Gudang, Malaysia, is seeking an Executive - Purchasing to oversee sourcing, supplier negotiations, contract management, SAP PO execution, governance, and supplier relationship management.

You will lead RFIs, RFQs and tenders, review PRs in SAP/SRM, monitor delivery, and drive cost savings while ensuring policy compliance. Requires degree and 5+ years in procurement within food manufacturing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage sourcing and negotiation activities for procurement categories including MRO, spare parts, and services.
• Conduct RFIs, RFQs, tenders, market analysis and lead supplier sourcing and negotiations.
• Review PRs and Shopping Carts in SAP/SRM, monitor orders and ensure timely materials.
• Gatekeeper for procurement compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Educate stakeholders and budget owners on procurement requirements and policy compliance.
• Coordinate with the BBS team for PO issuance and address supplier issues impacting supply.
• Collaborate with suppliers to expedite deliveries and drive on-time performance.
• Participate in supplier business reviews and support performance improvements.
• Ensure vendor onboarding and MDG system data accuracy.
• Work with stakeholders to identify and deliver cost-saving opportunities while hitting KPIs.
• Support contract and agreement reviews with Procurement Manager and Legal.
