Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
• Minimum 5 years in purchasing/procurement, preferably in manufacturing.
• Strong negotiation, supplier management and commercial skills essential.
• Experience in sourcing, contract management and import procurement.
• Proven analytical, communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications.
• Knowledge of food safety/quality systems (e.g., FSSC 22000, ISO 22000, HACCP) is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; other languages a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead all purchasing and sourcing for raw materials, packaging, indirect materials, and services.
• Develop sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality and supply continuity.
• Manage supplier relationships, performance evaluations and negotiations.
• Coordinate local and import procurement to ensure timely material availability.
• Identify cost-saving and continuous improvement opportunities.
• Monitor market trends and supply risks for strategic decisions.
• Support NPD and growth projects through supplier sourcing and planning.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety and regulatory standards.
