Job summary

Nasty Cookie Sdn Bhd in Pasir Gudang, Johor, is seeking a Senior Procurement Executive to independently manage day-to-day procurement from sourcing to delivery.

You will handle supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation, negotiation, purchasing, and documentation, ensuring timely availability of raw materials, ingredients, and packaging.

This hands-on role requires halal compliance, cross-functional coordination with QA/QC, Production, Finance, and Management, and a focus on cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, or Supply Chain.
• Food Manufacturing / FMCG experience is highly preferred.
• Senior Executive level experience in Procurement or Purchasing.
• Experience in purchasing food ingredients, raw materials, and packaging materials is highly advantageous.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field; Halal certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end procurement activities for raw materials, ingredients, packaging materials, and other company requirements.
• Source and identify reliable suppliers based on price, quality, lead time, capacity and reliability.
• Prepare and process PRs, POs, and related procurement documents.
• Monitor stock levels and purchasing requirements to ensure material availability for production.
• Coordinate with Production and Warehouse on material requirements and delivery schedules.
• Follow up with suppliers on orders, delivery status, delays, and shortages.
• Monitor supplier performance on quality, pricing, delivery, and responsiveness.
• Identify alternative suppliers to minimise supply disruptions and procurement risks.
