Job summary

Jabil in Penang, Malaysia is seeking an experienced Master Scheduler to manage all planning activities for the assigned workcell and mentor Production Planners and Document Coordinators.

You will own Master Production Scheduling (MPS), BOMs, and material planning while ensuring 100% on-time delivery through tight demand and capacity alignment. APICS certification and leadership in planning are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree + 5 years of experience, or Masters + 3 years of related experience, or PhD without experience.
• APICS certification and Supervisor experience preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of MRP, lead times for components, internal run rates, test development lead times, machine programming lead times and the chronology of events to build a product.

Responsibilities

• Own production planning, BOM and document control with or without additional support.
• Develop Master Production Schedule (MPS) and load into ERP system, including PO coverage.
• Ensure 100% on-time delivery and 95% MPS goal.
• Analyze material and capacity requirements and communicate constraints to the Workcell and customer.
• Lead the Workcell on BOMs and routings for accurate WIP tracking and inventory movement.
