Job summary

Jabil in Penang, Malaysia seeks a seasoned Workcell Planning Manager to lead the Planning organization as a delegate to the site Planning Functional Manager. You will drive demand planning, schedule alignment, and cross-functional execution to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities include coaching planners, maintaining accurate MRP data, and driving continuous improvements in materials metrics. A strong logistics/analytics background and APICS or related degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry.
• Strong proficiency in determining logistics requirements to enable business goals.
• Strong financial and analytical ability with business analytics.
• Knowledge of international direct and indirect taxes and customs regimes.
• Experience in change management and cost reduction programs.
• Strong communication skills and PC skills (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Lead and administrate the Workcell Planning organization as delegate of the functional manager.
• Drive systematic demand receive, evaluate, and feasible operational planning.
• Reconcile Master Production Schedule to customer PO coverage weekly.
• Assess and optimize production schedules, run quantities, and OTD targets.
• Maintain Master Production Schedule with up-to-date MRP data.
• Forecast planners’ headcount and coach staff to their potential.
• Review policies, ensure comprehension and compliance within the team.
• Monitor Workcell goals and strategic planning with site and global managers.
