Job summary

Jabil Circuit Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a Master Planner to manage all planning activities for the dedicated workcell and mentor the Production Planners and Document Coordinators.

The role focuses on developing the Master Production Schedule (MPS), owning BOMs and routings, and ensuring accurate demand and on-time delivery within the ERP/MRP framework. APICS certification is preferred for advancement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree plus relevant experience or higher, APICS certification preferred.
• Experience with MRP, lead times, and production scheduling.
• Strong understanding of BOMs, routings, and capacity management.

Responsibilities

• Develop Master Production Schedule (MPS) and load into ERP.
• Own BOMs and routings for accurate WIP tracking.
• Reconcile MPS with customer PO coverage and demand.
• Meet daily with workcell and manufacturing teams to optimize schedules.
• Ensure 95% MPS accuracy and 100% on-time delivery.
