Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders and track order execution, handle delays and shortages.
• Manage product sourcing and allocation to prevent overstock or shortages.
• Handle non-conforming incoming materials and assist processing.
• Verify supplier invoices and related accounting processes.
• Communicate with suppliers about lead times, prices and order status.
• Analyze procurement data and prepare reports to support purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with production, warehousing, finance and other departments to align procurement with operations.
• Develop outsourced production plans for machining per schedule.
• Daily handling of OA applications.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by the employer.

Senior Procurement Specialist (Senai-based)

Proficient in creating purchase orders, tracking order execution, and handling order exceptions (such as delays, shortages, and quality issues).

Proficient in managing product sourcing and allocation, controlling purchase quantities and inventory levels to avoid material overstock or shortages.

Proficient in handling non-conforming incoming materials during inspection and assisting with subsequent processing.

Proficient in verifying supplier invoices and handling related accounting processes.

Proficient in communicating with suppliers regarding lead times, prices, and order status, following up on material deliveries to ensure a stable supply.

Proficient in analyzing procurement data, preparing related reports, and supporting purchasing decisions and cost control.

Proficient in collaborating with production, warehousing, finance, and other departments to ensure procurement aligns with overall operations.

Proficient in developing outsourced production plans for machining according to equipment schedules, ensuring outsourcing tasks align with production needs.

Responsible for daily handling of OA (Office Automation) applications.

Perform other tasks assigned by the employer.

Requirements

Diploma or above.

10+ years of purchasing management experience, with leadership skills.

Proficient in procurement and supply processes, as well as supplier delivery time management.

Proficient in logistics cycle distribution and office software applications.

Proficient in financial and cost management knowledge, with strong cost awareness.
