Job summary

Heng Sheng Hardware is seeking a Senior Procurement Executive to manage purchasing and stock replenishment for 10,000+ SKUs, ensuring product availability and optimal stock levels.

You will analyze sales trends, identify slow-moving items and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to improve cost, quality, and delivery. A strong background in local supplier negotiation and ERP-enabled purchasing is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in procurement, supply chain, business admin, logistics, or related field.
• 3–7 years in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or inventory management.
• End-to-end procurement and supplier management experience.
• Local supplier negotiation and cost management experience.
• Strong inventory planning, replenishment and stock optimization.
• Experience with multiple suppliers and large SKU portfolios.
• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets and ERP systems.
• Independent, proactive, and able to take ownership.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Retail, Hardware, FMCG, Building Materials or Distribution experience is a plus.

About the role

To manage purchasing and inventory replenishment activities, ensuring product availability, healthy stock levels and timely purchasing decisions. The role will analyse inventory movement and sales trends, identify slow-moving and excess stock, coordinate with suppliers, and support continuous improvement of purchasing and inventory processes.

Key responsibilities

• Identify slow-moving, excess and ageing inventory and recommend appropriate actions.

• Negotiate pricing and coordinate with suppliers to achieve competitive cost, quality and delivery requirements.
• Work closely with Warehouse, Sales and Management teams to align purchasing with operational and business needs.

About you

• At least Bachelor's Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field.
• 3-7 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Supply Chain or Inventory Management.
• Strong hands-on experience in end-to-end procurement and supplier management.
• Proven experience in local supplier negotiation, sourcing and cost management.
• Strong understanding of inventory planning, replenishment and stock optimisation.
• Experience managing multiple suppliers and large SKU portfolios.
• Proficient in Excel / Google Sheets and ERP systems.
• Able to work independently, make decisions and take ownership.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience in Retail, Hardware, FMCG, Building Materials or Distribution is an advantage.
