Job summary
Randstad Malaysia represents a client, a leading global manufacturer of premium acoustic and audio systems, seeking a Senior Process Engineer in Penang. You will drive operational excellence for plastic injection molding and robotic automation, ensuring compliance with top automotive quality standards.
You will develop core automotive quality documentation and lead Kaizen initiatives to improve cycle times, reduce downtime and optimize productivity.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years in industrial manufacturing, specifically plastics injection molding and automation.
- Experience with IATF 16949 core tools.
- Strong problem-solving and cross-functional communication.
- Automotive industry experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Oversee plastic injection molding process setup, operation, maintenance and troubleshooting.
- Manage robotic automation systems integrated with molding operations.
- Develop and maintain PFMEA, Control Plans, Setup Instructions, and Standard Work.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
- Lead Kaizen to improve cycle times, reduce downtime, scrap and boost productivity.
- Collaborate with production and quality teams to resolve non-conformances and ensure traceability.
