Job summary

Panduit Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer (Injection Moulding Process) to lead NPI moulding projects, optimize processes, and troubleshoot production issues on the shop floor in Kulai.

You will collaborate with Production, Quality, Tooling and Maintenance teams to ensure moulding quality, cycle times, and cost efficiency, while implementing DOE and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

Degree in Mechanical, Materials, Electrical, Chemical Engineering or related field.
3–5 years hands-on injection moulding experience.
Strong knowledge of moulding processes and troubleshooting.
Experience with DOE, process optimization, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

Provide engineering and technical support for injection moulding and mould-related issues.
Operate, set up, and maintain injection moulding machines and faults troubleshooting.
Develop knowledge of product moulding characteristics and the moulding process.
Coordinate mould trials, tooling, and moulded-part troubleshooting; implement engineering changes.
Lead NPI moulding and assembly processes; perform DOE on process parameters.
Attend to quality and production issues with timely technical solutions.
Participate in Continuous Process Improvement and LEAN initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate product failures and root cause analysis.
Work with Quality to conduct testing, validation, and compiled reports for approval.
