Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is recruiting an experienced NPI Process Engineer to bridge early-stage product design with full-scale mass production. You will lead end-to-end NPI for speaker projects, optimize industrial parameters, and collaborate with Global Process Engineering networks.

You will manage line releases, tooling coordination, SAP routing, and capacity planning while driving continuous improvement and manufacturing excellence across the Penang site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in NPI and Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering in high-volume manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of IATF 16949 Core Tools (PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).

Responsibilities

• Lead NPI setup, line releases, and handover to Mass Production on ramp-up targets.
• Coordinate with GPE on tooling, line design, and equipment approvals.
• Support RFQ submissions, feasibility studies, profitability analysis, and CAPEX/COGS planning.
• Manage project BOM validation and SAP routing structures.
• Conduct value stream mapping and line layout optimization.
• Drive capacity planning models and takt time analysis.
• Lead design and qualification of jigs and fixtures; apply Poka‑Yoke solutions.
• Participate in QRQC and engineering change management.
