Job summary
Randstad Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to oversee production operations, manage transitions to mass production, and uphold standardized work and quality compliance. You will partner with regional engineers across APAC to optimize line productivity and OEE.
The role emphasizes line balancing, PFMEA, control plans, and daily troubleshooting to drive continuous improvement in a high-volume acoustics manufacturing environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical/Electronics, Industrial, or Acoustical Engineering.
- 3+ years of relevant manufacturing engineering experience in high-volume production preferred.
- Experience with SAP routing, BOMs, PFMEA, and Control Plans is required.
Responsibilities
- Lead gate management for mass production transfers and ensure smooth SOP transitions.
- Drive standardized work, PFMEA, and control plans to sustain quality.
- Conduct daily Gemba walks to enforce standardized work and identify losses.
- Support capacity planning (WPS/MPS/IBP) and identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities.
- Collaborate with regional engineering teams across APAC and participate in CIP, VE/VA activities.
