Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Malaysia seeks a warehouse operative to ensure daily operations meet KPIs, safety rules and SOPs while supporting inbound and outbound activity.

You will perform picking, packing, loading/unloading, cycle counts and housekeeping, verify documents, and maintain accurate inventory at the Puncak Alam site.

Candidates should read English and Bahasa Malaysia, work with minimal supervision, and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a global logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Able to read and write English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Ability to use good judgment in making decisions
• Fundamental working knowledge of statistics
• Must be flexible and able to work effectively within organization with little or no direct supervision.
• Must be able to interface successfully with various personalities, cultures and work environments.
• Able to handle and maintain MHE (where required)
• Able to work in Puncak Alam

Responsibilities

• To ensure all assignments are met within the specific deliverables concerned.
• To lead, monitor & follow up daily inbound & outbound operation.
• To prepare incident report if found damages or discrepancy during daily operation.
• Visually check on cargo i.e. dented cartons, wet cartons, torn cartons, short ship/ over ship & etc. Tally in and ensure accuracy.
• Verify documents, update system accurately and timely.
• To ensure the work instructions, requirements and SOP are adhered strictly.
• Notify superior if there’s a problem executing efficiently.
• To perform the physical picking, put away and support (ferrying of pallets to and staging area).
• To off load incoming stocks and load outgoing stocks.
• To assist in physical house keeping during the cycle count process.
• Report to Supervisor, Operations on any damage either MHEs or goods.
• To ensure cleanliness of surrounding work area.
• To adhere to the Safety Regulations of Operating Material Handling Equipment. Rules & regulations set by the management.
• Ensure set KPIs are met.
• Adhere strictly to process flow.
• Adhere strictly to standard warehouse requirements and SOP.
