Job summary

DHL Malaysia is seeking a warehouse associate to support daily inbound and outbound operations at the Puncak Alam site. You will be responsible for picking, put-away, pallet ferrying, and stock checks while ensuring accuracy and safety. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required, with the ability to work with minimal supervision.

The role emphasizes strict adherence to SOPs, precise documentation, and teamwork to meet KPIs and maintain orderly warehouse operations.

Qualifications

• Able to read and write English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• Ability to use good judgment in making decisions.
• Fundamental working knowledge of statistics.
• Able to function in a warehouse with little or no direct supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead, monitor and follow up daily inbound and outbound operations.
• Prepare incident reports for damages or discrepancies.
• Visually inspect cargo for dents, wetness, tears, or shortages; tally and ensure accuracy.
• Verify documents and update systems timely.
• Ensure work instructions and SOPs are followed strictly.
• Notify supervisor if issues arise to ensure efficient execution.
• Perform picking, put-away and ferry pallets to staging area.
• Unload incoming stocks and load outgoing stocks.
• Assist in housekeeping during cycle counts.
• Report damages to Supervisor, Operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of surrounding work area.
• Adhere to Safety Regulations for operating MHE.

Responsibilities

To ensure all assignments are met within the specific deliverables concerned.

• Proper follow up with all outstanding issues Process

1. To lead, monitor & follow up daily inbound & outbound operation.
2. To prepare incident report if found damages or discrepancy during daily operation.
3. Visually check on cargo i.e. dented cartons, wet cartons, torn cartons, short ship/ over ship & etc. Tally in and ensure accuracy.
4. Verify documents, update system accurately and timely.
5. To ensure the work instructions, requirements and SOP are adhered strictly.
6. Notify superior if there’s a problem executing efficiently.
7. To perform the physical picking, put away and support (ferrying of pallets to and staging area).
8. To off load incoming stocks and load outgoing stocks.
9. To assist in physical house keeping during the cycle count process.
10. Report to Supervisor, Operations on any damage either MHEs or goods.
11. To ensure cleanliness of surrounding work area.
12. To adhere to the Safety Regulations of Operating Material Handling Equipment. Rules & regulations set by the management.
