Job summary

DHL Supply Chain in Malaysia is seeking a delivery driver to ensure timely, accurate deliveries and maintain high service standards. You will load and unload items, follow routes, and use the TMS to update PODs while delivering with care and professionalism.

Responsibilities include ensuring orders are completed, following safety procedures, and providing excellent customer service while maintaining punctuality and a positive attitude on every shift.

• Strong time management skills to meet daily delivery targets.
• Clear communication with customers and colleagues to ensure smooth handoffs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all deliveries meet specified deliverables and SLAs.
• Follow up on outstanding deliveries and ensure PODs are updated in the system.
• Load, transport, and deliver items safely and on time, adhering to routes and schedules.
• Obtain customer sign-off on delivery orders and collect payments if applicable.
• Provide helpful customer service and address complaints professionally.
• Maintain compliance with transportation laws and keep a clean driving record.
• Prepare reports related to deliveries and update the TMS/POD status.

Responsibilities

• To ensure all assignments are met within the specific deliverables concerned.
• To ensure proper follow up with all outstanding deliveries
• To ensure the shipment is being delivered within the agreed urgent SLAs and the POD’s are updated accordingly via Delivery Connect (DC), DHL/Customer’s System
• Sorting and verification, loading, transporting, and delivering items to clients or businesses in a safe and timely manner. To follow ETA without failure
• Reviewing orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are completed.
• Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles.
• Ensure customer sign-off the delivery order.
• Accepting payments for delivered items (if applicable)
• Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and handling complaints from clients.
• Adhering to assigned routes and following time schedules.
• Abiding by all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record.
• Preparing reports and other documents relating to deliveries.
• Updating TMS system (POD updating via sign on glass)

Requirements

• Valid Driving & GDL license
• Van: (Driving License & GDL)
• 1 Ton: (Driving License & GDL)
• Minimum 2 years experiences in driving van / trucks
• Able to read and write English & Bahasa Malaysia.
• Ability to work with minimum supervision
• Must be flexible and able to work effectively within organization with little or no direct supervision.
• Must be able to interface successfully with various personalities, cultures and work environments.
• Must be able to readily adjust priorities and tasks in response to business needs.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.

• Able to follow supervisor / reporting manager instructions related to scope and deliveries.
