Job summary

Pentech Solution Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking Technical Specialist or Senior Technical Specialist with a focus on network or infrastructure. You will troubleshoot, maintain customer environments, and support a 24/7 operation.

The role requires hands-on experience with enterprise networking, firewalls, switching, and wireless platforms, plus the ability to mentor junior staff and coordinate with customers and providers. A relevant degree and strong problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of hands-on troubleshooting experience with VMware ESXi, Hyper-V, HCI and backup.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
Experience with enterprise firewall and switching platforms.
Certifications such as Fortinet NSE4, CCNA, or Aruba beneficial.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and resolve customer technical issues.
Handle tickets, routine checks and maintenance for customer environments.
Diagnose escalated issues to minimise downtime for customers.
Maintain accurate technical documentation and PM reports.
Coordinate troubleshooting and service restoration with customers and service providers.
Support a 24/7 operational environment.
Mentor and guide technical staff.
