Job summary

Bridgenet Solutions Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Network Security Engineer (Junior/Senior) to deliver 24/7 technical support to clients remotely or onsite. You will gather data during incidents, manage resolution status, and escalate as needed while coordinating with sales, engineering, and project teams.

The role requires a IT/CS degree, strong security knowledge, and willingness to work after hours and weekends.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT/CS.
For junior role, fresh graduates may apply; for senior, 5+ years of experience.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
Willing to work after office hours, holidays, and weekends.
Solid knowledge of IP protocols, VPNs, and firewalls.
Familiar with Fortinet, CheckPoint, Palo Alto, Cisco ASA.
Familiar with IPS solutions like TippingPoint/FirePower and proxy/Web security.

Responsibilities

Provide 24/7 high-quality technical support remotely or onsite.
Attend in-person meetings with clients to address incidents and gather info.
Manage resolution status for all cases per SLA.
Escalate to relevant departments and keep stakeholders updated.
Log information for reporting purposes.
Maintain knowledge of competitive and complementary security solutions.
Coach and develop team members to enhance product knowledge.
Develop and maintain relationships with prospects, customers, and partners.
Collaborate with field sales, project management, engineering, and support teams.
Participate in project implementation as required.
Create and transfer documentation and knowledge resources.
Monitor support outcomes and alert sales to customer-satisfaction risks.
