Phonelab Group Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled mobile phone technician in Malaysia. You will diagnose hardware/software issues, perform board-level repairs and component replacements, and provide clear customer guidance on repairs.

The role emphasizes hands-on repair skills, up-to-date knowledge of mobile technologies, and strong communication with customers and colleagues. Training and ongoing learning are available.

Qualifications

• Technical proficiency in mobile phone hardware repair and software troubleshoot.
• Hands-on motherboard repair experience; component replacement on mobile devices.
• Experience in retail operations.
• Minimum SPM / O Level / SKM Level 1-3 or Equivalent.
• Fluency in English/multi language to communicate with customers and colleagues.
• Excellent customer service and ability to communicate technical issues clearly.
• Computer literate (Basic).
• Able to work 6 days a week
• Disciplined, self-motivated and independent

Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware and software issues in mobile phones using diagnostic tools to identify root causes.
• Perform component-level repairs including soldering/desoldering on mobile phone boards.
• Replace damaged components such as screens, batteries, cameras, charging ports ensuring functionality.
• Troubleshoot software issues and perform flashing/debugging as needed.
• Provide exceptional customer service, explaining repair solutions clearly to customers.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and customer interactions in the system.
• Stay updated with latest mobile tech, repair techniques and industry trends.
