Phonelab Group Sdn Bhd in Subang Jaya is seeking a skilled technician to diagnose and repair mobile phones. You will perform board-level repairs, component replacements, and software troubleshooting to ensure devices function correctly.

The role requires a disciplined and self-motivated individual who can communicate technical issues clearly to customers and work six days a week. English and multilingual communication is a plus; experience in retail operations is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in mobile phone hardware repair and software troubleshooting.
• Experience with motherboard repairs and component replacement.
• Fluency in English/multi-language is advantageous.
• Excellent customer service and ability to explain technical issues clearly.
• Minimum education: SPM / O Level / SKM Level 1-3 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose hardware and software issues in mobile phones using diagnostic tools and knowledge to identify root causes.
• Perform component-level repairs including soldering and desoldering of microchips and connectors on mobile boards.
• Replace damaged components such as screens, batteries, cameras, and charging ports ensuring proper functionality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software issues including OS errors and connectivity problems.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating repair solutions clearly and professionally.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and customer interactions.
• Stay up-to-date with latest mobile technologies and repair techniques.
